Actor Raymond Bagatsing offers peace in the timely documentary ‘Guns, Bombs & War: A Love Story

Award-winning actor Raymond Bagatsing appears in the documentary film, Guns, Bombs & War: A Love Story. This film couldn’t come at a more appropriate time.  Now more than ever, with never-ending wars raging across the globe and in the wake of the advanced hostilities in Israel, this film provides tools for hope, highlights humanitarian efforts to change the world, and is a reminder that we each must stand up and work towards peace and a safer planet for ourselves and the next generations to come.

Raymond, who is an acclaimed actor, practices yoga and meditation daily and is a vegetarian. He has been a big help to rural communities in the Philippines along with the Mahal Foundation. Bagatsing shares his message of peace in this film, among some prolific thought leaders from around the world. The film produced and directed by French Director, Emmanuel Itier.  With all kinds of weapons capable of wiping everything from the face of the globe, the future of the world is at stake. Journey through history, biology, mythology, and fables to learn more about humanity’s love affair with guns, bombs, and war. Discover if violence is in our genes or a construct of our minds created by violent and destructive individuals. It’s so easy to destroy but so difficult to rebuild.

Besides being a world-class actor, Raymond is an avid humanitarian, giving back to the community through arts, training, and mentorship. Bagatsing also actively donated books, food, and clothing during difficult times like the last typhoon that hit the Philippines alongside the Mahal Foundation, established in 2004 by Deo Palma. Raymond shares a side to him that’s not well known, his humanitarian heart. Raymond is often cast as a villain in his roles.

Raymond Bagatsing’s body of work as an actor is impressive. Raymond received international recognition for his work in Quezon Game which won him the best actor at Cinema World Fest AUTUMN Awards in Ottawa, Canada. Raymond has been recognized as an international actor winning many awards, including best actor for his portrayal of President Quezon. Raymond Bagatsing is one of Asia’s most acclaimed actors. Raymond often donates his time, energy, and resources to serve the community when he is not working on set.

Itier shares, “Our film is a perfect tool to understand current conflicts such as Israel/Palestine or the military nightmare in Myanmar. This is a true call for action. An invitation to get involved and run for office. The day men can put down their guns, bombs, and wars are the day we can move toward a unifying field of Peace and Love, necessary for our survival to thrive. It will take time, and new leadership will emerge. It will get done.”

Sharon Stone has supported Emmanuel’s work and Produced several of his films. Emmanuel Itier is an award-winning French filmmaker.
